Review and approve proposals
Proposals are transformation recommendations prepared by your Advizr team. When your FDE identifies an opportunity to automate a process, build a new workflow, or improve an existing system, they create a proposal for your review. The Proposals section is where you read the details, leave feedback, and approve or request changes.

Respond to a proposal
Click Proposals in the left sidebar. On mobile, tap the menu icon in the top-left corner first.
Proposals waiting on you are marked Review. Use the status filter to narrow the list if needed.
Each proposal typically includes a summary (what is being recommended and why), the scope (what will be built, changed, or automated), a timeline with key milestones, the expected outcomes (time saved, costs reduced, processes improved), and the connected goals it supports.
Click Approve to confirm the work should proceed as described, Request changes to ask your FDE to adjust the scope, timeline, or approach, or leave a comment on a specific part of the proposal.
You should now see the proposal’s status change - to Approved if you approved it, or back with your FDE if you requested changes.
The proposal lifecycle
Proposals move through a set of stages:
- Draft - Your FDE is still working on the details. You may see drafts if your FDE shares early for feedback.
- Review - The proposal is ready for you to read and respond to.
- Approved - You have approved the work. Your FDE begins building.
- In Progress - The work is underway. You can track progress from Goals, and in the Runs view if you have Advanced mode turned on in Settings.
- Completed - The work is done and delivered. Results are available in your dashboard.
Find past proposals
All proposals - active and completed - are listed on the Proposals page. Use the status filter to narrow the view. Completed proposals include a summary of what was delivered and the outcomes achieved.
A proposal is an agreement about what gets built next, so it has to be understandable without technical background. Your FDE writes proposals to be read in minutes, not hours: what the work is, why it matters to your goals, and what you can expect to gain. Reviewing completed proposals over time is also the simplest way to track the cumulative value of your engagement. If anything is unclear, leave a comment or ask in Chat.
If something goes wrong
- The Approve button is greyed out or missing. Approving requires the Client Admin role. If you are a Client Viewer, ask your organization’s admin to approve, or request a role change.
- A proposal has been in Draft for a while. Drafts are still being written by your FDE. If you are expecting one to reach Review, ask for a status update in Chat.
- Your comment did not post. Refresh the page and check the comment thread before retyping - it may have saved without confirming.
- You cannot find an older proposal. Clear the status filter so completed and archived proposals are included in the list.
Still stuck? Send your FDE a message in Chat with your browser, a screenshot, and when it happened.
