Manage your notifications

The platform keeps you informed about important events through two channels: in-app notifications and email digests. You control what you receive and how often, so you stay up to date without being overwhelmed.

What triggers notifications

You receive notifications when something happens that may need your attention:

  • Proposals - A new proposal is ready for review, or an existing proposal has been updated
  • Workflow completions - A run has finished and results are available
  • Chat messages - Your FDE or another team member has sent you a message
  • Team changes - A new team member has accepted their invitation
  • Document processing - A document you uploaded has finished processing
  • Goal updates - Progress has been logged against one of your objectives

In-app notifications

A notification badge appears on the bell icon in the top bar when new events arrive. Click the bell to see a list of recent notifications. Each notification links directly to the relevant section — click a proposal notification to jump to the proposal, click a run notification to see the results.

Notifications are grouped by type and sorted with the most recent at the top. You can mark notifications as read individually or mark all as read at once.

Email digests

In addition to in-app notifications, the platform sends email summaries of activity. You can choose how often you receive these:

  • Daily - A summary email each morning with everything that happened yesterday
  • Weekly - A summary email each Monday with the previous week’s activity
  • Off - No email digests (you still get in-app notifications)

Configure your preferences

Open notification preferences

Open Settings and select your notification preferences, or open them directly from the bell icon’s notification panel.

Set your email digest

Toggle email digests on or off, and choose daily or weekly frequency.

Mute types you do not need

Turn off specific notification types — for example, mute document processing alerts if you upload files frequently.

You should now see your updated preferences saved, and future notifications arriving only through the channels and types you selected.

In-app notifications are immediate and tied to a specific item, so they work best while you are already in the portal. Email digests batch everything into one summary on your schedule, so you stay informed during weeks when you do not log in. Keeping the channels separate means muting one never silences the other — you can run email-only, in-app-only, or both.

If something goes wrong

  • Digest emails are not arriving. Check your spam folder, confirm your digest is not set to Off, and verify the email address on your profile in Settings.
  • The bell badge will not clear. Click the bell and use mark all as read. If the badge persists, refresh the page.
  • You are getting too many notifications. Mute the noisiest types in your preferences — document processing and goal updates are the usual culprits.
  • A notification links to something you cannot open. Your role may not have access to that section. Check Roles and permissions or ask your Client Admin.
